The Cuckoo's Calling I

Hello friends,
you all must be wondering long time no see, where have I disappeared?.........well after my exams I got ill to an appreciable extent, enough to keep me confined to bed.But now as I am back I promise more and more awesome times in Bookworm's Corner.Winter is long here and the New Year is right around the corner. Some of you may have been experiencing the blissful snowfalls. So why not talk about something to do with a dark sinister mystery?coffee in your hands, snuggled in your favorite armchair in these cool dark evenings where shadows dance in the flickering lights, a taste of mystery will be heavenly divine.Though I have not forgotten Inferno & Blink as I promised earlier I think talking about Robert Galbraith's The Cuckoo's Calling first will be great.
It's a crime fiction novel by actually J.K.Rowling! the master creator of Harry Potter. Herein comes Cormoran Strike, private investigator with his secretary Robin who is initially a temp in the novel.Strike is a war veteran and is scarred both mentally and physically.Further his financial conditions are on the verge of complete breakdown when hey and presto walks in a client in his shabby office, John Bristow,an attorney who wants his sister Lula Landry's murderer caught.Lula was a famous, much sought after model who had supposedly jumped to her death. As Strike initially sceptic, delves deep into the young model's world he is blown over by its complexities..............................................................................MORE COMING UP FROM THE CUCKOO'S CALLING SHORTLY.............
